Study: Less Sleep Leads To Risky Behavior

A new study shows that less sleep is associated with risky behavior in teens.

The study was published in JAMA Pediatrics journal and researchers say that those, especially teenagers who don't get enough sleep are more likely to drive drunk, have unsafe sexual activity, obtain aggressive behavior and are more likely to use alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.

The research also shows that those teens sleeping less than 6 hours specifically are 3-times more likely to be suicidal. That's all compared to teens sleeping more than 8 hours.

In the study, teenagers of a high school reported that 70% get less than 8 hours of sleep per night.

..Yikes.
