I can't be the only one who asks this question. When I ride in a cab I'm always given the option to tip and always do. But, until recently, there wasn't an option to tip Uber drivers and now there is. So, the question is... should we be tipping Uber drivers?
An International etiquette consultant named Julia Boyd says yes.
She actually makes some good points.. that Uber can be a bit more expensive than a cab, but you get into [usually] a clean car with fresh water, a cell charger and snacks. The Uber experience also offers a bit of safety and comfort too, so adding a 10% tip fo average service and then 15-20% for exceptional service.
