California Made A New Law For Rescue Pets!

I feel like this is the start of something new and will catch on around the U.S.

But, California officially passed a law that says pet stores can only sell rescue animals.

It's called the Pet Rescue and Adoption Act and it covers dogs, cats and rabbits.

If Pet stores are caught not complying with the law, they can be fined up to $500 per animal.

Private breeders are still allowed to sell as they please.
