BREAKING: Illinois Just Got One Step Closer To Marijuana Legalization!

(source) - SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The push to legalize recreational marijuana use took a big step forward in Illinois Wednesday after the Senate passed a recreational marijuana bill. The bill is now heading to the House.
The bill passed the Senate with 38 voting in favor and 17 opposed. Two senators voted present and two were no votes.
Earlier in the dat, the Senate executive committee signed off changes to the bill. Only medical patients would be allowed to grow at home. Employers have protections. Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker would pardon low-level non-violent drug offenders.
Marijuana legalization was just one of the several hot button issues lawmakers in Springfield debated as the spring session winds down.

Hell yeah, Illinois! Listen, you better board the weed train now because it's inevitable that the drug will be federally legalized soon enough. There's too much potential money for these state governments to NOT vote it into existence. Everyone needs to mellow out sometimes and now, Illinois might join the growing number of states who allow their people to do that without having to worry about the law harshing their mellow. It's got my vote... - @Traceahamilton
