7-year-old Leighton Accardo may be battling cancer, but she's got an incredible support system to help her in her fight!
Accardo was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and began chemotherapy treatment immediately. As is common when undergoing chemotherapy, Accardo lost her hair. That can be incredibly difficult for a child, so her friends wanted to show their support and make sure she did not go through it alone! Her friends, who are teammates on her softball team, decided to say goodbye to their hair too! They shaved their heads, showing that they may be little but they've got BIG hearts!
