Jon Pardi is sure doing what he can to make sure that traditional country sound stays just as prominent in today's genre as it was back in the day. Off of his upcoming album 'Heartache Medication' Pardi just released this song that, in a way, tips the hat to George Strait. Strait has a song, I'm sure you know, called 'The Cowboy Rides Away' and in his new song, Pardi argues that's not always the case. The song is great and country to its core.
