Darius Brown is just 12-years-old, but he has a heart of gold and the mind of a brilliant entrepreneur! Darius helps animals in shelters get adopted into forever homes. How? By dressing them up with a little pizzazz! Darius makes teeny pet-sized bowties to help cats and dogs look friendly and fancy for photos.
"You would see the photos of the dogs wearing my bowties, and you would see the dogs in their loving homes, and they'll feel so comfortable, and enjoy, and that just makes me very happy," Darius told reporters.
Darius, who as diagnosed with comprehension and speech delays, along with delays in his fine motor skills, says that making the bows has helped him improve those skills. He donates the bowties to shelters in his home state of New Jersey. Check out the little cuties he's helping find homes:
