Scientists in Submarine Observe Dancing Octopus

I'm sure scientists see some incredible sites when they're miles down in the ocean, exploring underwater worlds. But the scientists aboard an American research vessel called Nautilus Live recently got a really special treat! Video recorded by the scientists shows an octopus who showed its stuff for them, seemingly dancing amid the deep sea currents. It happened in the central Pacific Ocean, off of Baker Island, about halfway between Hawaii and Australia. The dancer and its audience were about a mile under water. This octopus is believed to be a member of the Cirroteuthidae family, one of the two main kinds of octopi.
