These Scientists Are Trapped in the Arctic Circle Due to the Pandemic

No running water... No electricity... But no coronavirus lockdown!

These scientists have found themselves in a strange situation, but they seem to be handling it just fine! Hilde Strom and Sunniva Sorby were conducting research near the arctic circle for the past 9 month. They've been studying climate change, and their expedition was supposed to end last week. However, due to the global pandemic, the ship scheduled to pick them up has cancelled. Strom and Sorby are stranded for the foreseeable future, with the next possible pickup not until September.

All things considered, they don't seem too down about the situation. They have plenty of food and supplies, books to read, and each other for company. And hey, they don't have to worry about contracting the virus!
