Teacher creates special chairs to soothe kids

#WhatsAwesome is Round Lake teacher Amy Maplethorpe who created tennis ball chairs for students in the classroom with sensory issues. The first-year teacher at Raymond Ellis Elementary School found the idea on Pinterest and is using the sensory chairs to help students with autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome or sensory processing disorder.
