World Series first base sells for whopping price

The first base used in the 9th and 10th innings of World Series Game 7 between the Chicago Cubs and the Cleveland Indians is the highest-priced base ever sold on MLB.com, at $101,237

The base was used by Anthony Rizzo during the final out that ended a 108 year drought for the Chicago Cubs.

Another base that was used in the game was also sold on MLB.com for nearly $17,000.
