#WhatsAwesome are strangers coming together to save a family and baby whose car flipped over in the middle of a storm in Texas.
The terrifying rescue of a father and his two children has been captured on video. Several good Samaritans jumped into the fast-moving river to help rescue an infant and a toddler from a car that flipped into rushing water.
The pressure of the rushing water was so strong that it took several people to pry open the doors.
“This baby is gonna die if we don’t start CPR fast,” Mitchell remembers thinking. Mitchell said he had “a negative feeling coming over me. This baby may not make it, this baby may not make it. No reaction, nothing is happening.” Finally, the baby starts coughing and crying.
