#WhatsAwesome is a Virginia high school allowing a student's service dog get its own photo in the school yearbook!
Alpha the service dog has been attending school with A.J. Shalk for for the past year and a half. A.J. suffers from Type 1 diabetes and relies on Alpha to alert him if his blood sugar is dangerously high or low, up to 40 minutes before A.J. even notices anything is wrong. Yearly pictures came around and Alpha was included in the yearbook!
