Experts warn this 1 thing isn't healthy for babies

If you give your child fruit juice, experts want you to know that it's not as healthy as you think it is.

The American Academy of Pediatrics is providing stricter recommendations and even suggest banning fruit juice from a baby's diet the entire first year because of the concern about increasing obesity rates.

Although juice may provide some vitamins, it offers minimal nutritional value, drinking it fills babies up without giving them the nutrients they actually need.

The AAP suggested juice intake:

1-3 years old: 4 ounces
4-6 years old: 4-6 ounces
7+ years old: 8 ounces
