#WhatsAwesome is a Chicago animal shelter taking in 100 displaced cats from Texas that have been affected by the disastrous flood waters after Hurricane Harvey. Felines & Canines, ocated at 6379 N. Paulina St. in Edgewater, is expecting the first transport to arrive some time between Friday and Monday.
There are ways you can help! Many of the cats will be adults and seniors in need of medical care and dental work. The shelter is asking for help from the public in the form of donations.
