#WhatsAwesome is a teenager bringing the school dance to a cancer patient who couldn't attend homecoming.
Best friends Kaitlin O’Connor and Blake Mounts had a plan to go to homecoming together, until cancer got in the way. Blake was recently diagnosed with a rare form of acute myeloid leukemia, and discovered his intense cancer treatments were going to keep him from attending homecoming.
Kaitlin dressed in her homecoming dress and her hair curled, decorated the room at the children’s hospital, and invited his closest friends and family.
