Boy Scouts of America to begin admitting girls

The Boy Scouts of America will begin admitting girls into the organization as Cubs Scouts and allow them to earn Eagle Scout Rank, the highest honor.

However, leaders of the Girl Scouts are outraged. They tell ABC News: "The Boy Scouts' house is on fire. Instead of addressing  systemic issues of continuing sexual assault, financial mismanagement and deficient programming, BSA's senior management wants to add an accelerant to the house fire by recruiting girls."

A program for the girls will begin in 2019. This is the first significant change in the history of the organization, founded over 100 years ago.
