Chicago mourns the loss of Cmdr. Paul Bauer

Joe Ahern of Chicago's 100 Club gave Mason, Remy and Alabama a call to mourn the loss of Cmdr. Paul Bauer.

Cmdr. Paul Bauer was fatally shot while assisting a tactical team pursuing a fleeing suspect near Chicago's Thompson Center.

The 100 Club of Chicago is an organization that provides for the families of first responders who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

CHICAGO MOURNS A HERO: Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and colleagues of Chicago Police Cmdr. Paul Bauer, who was fatally shot at the Thompson Center. Law enforcement officers escorted the fallen commander's body in an emotional procession from Northwestern Hospital to the Cook County Morgue.
