Teen Spends Flight Communicating with Blind and Deaf Passenger

When flight attendants needed help communicating with a blind and deaf passenger during a cross-country flight, they put out a call for help to the rest of the airplane. 15-year-old Clara Daly was on the flight from Boston to Los Angeles along with the man named Tim. Through sign language, she asked him if he needed anything. He asked for water, but she says what he really wanted was some company. Cara spent the flight keeping the man company, and helping him to communicate.
