Uh oh! Check your pantry for this kid-friendly favorite! Pepperidge Farm said in a statement on its website that they've been notified by one of their ingredient suppliers that a whey powder in a seasoning for the crackers has been the subject of a recall due to the potential presence of Salmonella.
As a result, the company is voluntarily recalling the four types of Goldfish crackers that contain this seasoning:
- Flavor Blasted Xtra Cheddar
- Flavor Blasted Sour Cream & Onion
- Goldfish Baked with Whole Grain Xtra Cheddar
- Goldfish Mix Xtra Cheddar + Pretzel
The company even created a chart with the affected products' universal product codes and sell by dates to help customers determine whether or not they have products included in the recall.
