Hair stylist JR D'Angeles claims cutting hair with blunt scissors causes breakage and more split ends. So instead, he's got a pretty unorthodox method for shortening his clients' hair... He sets the ends on fire.
The California stylist rubs his clients' neck and ears with anti-burn protective cream before setting their hair ablaze. It's a technique he says leaves his clients' hair silky smooth. He didn't invent the method, saying he first saw it growing up in the Philippines, but hopes it "catches" on here in the states.
I want to hear from some stylists around here. Is this legit? Would you ever dare to let someone try this on your head?
