Rare Surgery Allows 12-Year-Old to Keep Dancing After Losing Leg

Nothing will stop Delaney Unger from her passion for dancing... NOTHING!

When Delaney was 11 years old, doctors diagnosed her with a rare bone cancer, and she had to have part of her leg amputated. Doctors then performed a rare surgery called Rotationplasty at Stony Brook Medical Center in New York. Her ankle joint now serves as her knee so she's able to attach a prosthetic leg.

Despite losing her leg, Delaney is a talented dancer who lights up the stage!
