Something in the Water? Chicago Residents Raise Concerns About Lead

While the city insists the drinking water in Chicago is safe, a group of Chicago residents want city leaders to address their concerns about potential lead in Chicago's water.

Organizers from the group, called the Answer Coalition of Chicago, are collecting names of residents for a petition and launching a campaign to better understand the issue at hand.

Previous investigations, as recently as 2016, have found as many as 300,000 homes in Chicago with lead service lines.
