Neurosurgeon Performs Surgery on Patient's Teddy Bear

A Canadian surgeon is making headlines and touching hearts all around the globe!

The Halifax neurosurgeon, Dr. Daniel McNeely, performed a career first recently after one of his young patient asked him to stitch up a beloved teddy bear while the boy recovered from a surgery of his own. 

Dr. McNeely happily obliged. After the successful operation, the bear, who is named Little Baby, got to recover with his owner, 8-year-old Jackson McKie. Jackson suffers from a brain condition called hydrocephalus and Dr. McNeely has cared for him since his birth. Jackson's family says the kind gesture from the doctor helped Jackson feel more comfortable during an otherwise frightening time.
