Minor Car Crash in Chicago Leads to Road Rage Shooting

A 41-year-old man is in serious condition after an apparent road rage shooting early Monday morning in the Chatham neighborhood.

According to police reports, the situation escalated from a minor traffic accident. Two vehicles were involved in the crash at the 200 block of east 76th street. An argument ensued between the drivers, and one driver pulled a hand gun. The male driver shot the passenger in the other vehicle multiple times in the hand, leg, and chest. 

The victim is in serious condition at the University of Chicago Hospital.
