Student-Teacher Fight Captured on Cell Phone Videos

A teacher has been charged with child abuse after cell phone video captured a fight between himself and a ninth grade student.

The dispute began when Marston Riley, 64, told the student he was not wearing the proper school uniform, and he asked the student to leave the classroom. The student refused to leave the classroom and began talking back to the teacher, including using curse words and the N-word. The situation continued to escalate with the student throwing a basketball at the teacher and eventually the teacher punching the student.

More video captured the teacher repeatedly punching the student before the fight is broken up.

Riley was released Saturday from Los Angeles County Jail on $50,000 bail.
