How to Prevent Sleep Paralysis

Have you ever suffered from sleep paralysis? The experience is horrifying for those who have suffered through it. Imagine this: you're passing in between the stages of wakefulness and sleep. You're conscious, but you suddenly find yourself completely unable to move or speak. You begin to feel pressure on your body, and a sense of choking.

And there seems to be nothing you can do to stop it.

These two women say they suffer from sleep paralysis and frequently have frightening experiences in the middle of the night. The condition can feel like something out of a horror movie, so much so, it's even been featured on the Netflix horror series, "The Haunting of Hill House." Sleep paralysis has popped up in reality television, as well.
