Minnesota College Student Lost Her Fingers and Toss to Frostbite

I constantly see people walking around Chicago on bitter cold days without a coat on. Today's high was below 30 degrees and I still saw people without coats on! But I see this most often at night, when it's the coldest. People don't want to deal with lugging a parka around a nightclub, which I understand and all... But by not wearing a coat you're taking a HUGE risk. It's a move that could cost you limbs, or even your life. 

Just ask Alyssa Lommel. Alyssa was a sophomore at the University of Minnesota in 2013 when she lost all her fingers and toes and nearly froze to death. She fell asleep on a porch after a night of drinking. Now she’s issuing a warning to others...
