Hundreds of Free Turkeys Given to Chicago Families

'Tis the season of giving, and Chicagoans are doing their part to take care of each other. The folks over at Saint Sabina Catholic Church gave away over 800 turkeys over the weekend as part of an annual event.

Saint Sabina’s Father Michael L. Pfleger personally greeted the hundreds of Chicagoans who waited in frigid temperatures for their free turkey to enjoy with family this Thanksgiving.

Father Pfleger says it's the church and community's responsibility to make sure everyone has food on their table.
