Truck Rear-Ended Indiana School Bus, Killing One Student

A school field trip in Indiana ended in tragedy when the school bus was struck by a truck. The crash happened about 40 miles south of South Bend. A flatbed truck rear ended the bus, and according to authorities instantly killed one student- a teenage boy.

Several other students were hospitalized, with non-life threatening injuries.

The school bus was carrying 38 students and three adults to see a Christmas musical in Warsaw, Indiana.

My thoughts and prayers are with the victim's family, friends, and community during this horrific time.
