Army Sergeant Jay Strobino was shot 13 times while serving in Iraq in 2006. He moved back to the U.S. for rehab and enrolled in college. Between a long commute to school, working full time, and handling confusing paperwork, he says he got lost in the shuffle.
However, with the help of the Charlie and Hazel Daniels Veteran program at his school, Jay was able to walk across the stage at Middle Tennessee State University's 2018 graduation ceremony!
