People all over the country rejoiced last week when the news broke that 13-year-old Wisconsin naive Jayme Closs had been found alive.
The teen, who escaped her captor last Thursday, helped authorities track down him down. Thursday morning Closs approached a woman who was walking her dog in the town of Gordon and told her, "I am Jayme Closs." Police responded within minutes and soon found 21-year-old Jake Thomas Patterson in his car and arrested him, thanks to information provided by Closs.
While police continue to investigate the murder of her parents, as well as her kidnapping, Jayme is now safe and reunited with her family in Barron.
