Meet Cooper! Cooper is an adorable 2-year-old American foxhound. He's not just cute though... He's tough as nails and an inspiration!
Cooper is one of just 30 dogs in the entire world with short spine syndrome , a genetic condition caused by inbreeding. Vertebrae in Cooper's spine is fused together and compressed, making the spine half the length it should be. He was believed to have been abandoned due to his condition, and he was rescued in 2017.
Today he's been adopted by a loving fur-ever family in Minnesota and has become a shining example of how dogs with disabilities still have a lot of life to live!
