Flooding Closes Chicago Ronald McDonald House

Last week's polar vortex brought extreme, record-breaking cold temperatures to Chicagoland and with it came a lot of damage. Some were without power, and many businesses and home suffered from burst pipes.

Sadly, a pipe burst at the Ronald McDonald House near UChicago Medicine Comer Children’s Hospital , and forced the closure of the facility. The burst pipe caused significant flooding and damage to guest rooms and living spaces, and it looks like the damage will take months to repair.
