High Winds Cause Major Damage Through Chicagoland

Sunday was one WILD weather day!

Sunday's windy conditions caused more than 14,000 power outages across the Chicago area and canceled more than 300 flights. A semi was toppled over, trees were knocked down, and even utility polls in the loop fell down, all casualties of the strong gusts.

In Glenwood, the wind ripped a rook right off an apartment complex.

I was out and about in Streeterville and it was CRAZY! It was hard to walk around with those major gusts.
