School Bus Driver Charged After Physical Altercation with Child on Bus

An Evanston bus driver has been charged with misdemeanor battery after an incident involving a 9-year-old student. David Rennie, 71, can be seen in surveillance video on his bus. According to the Chicago Tribune, Rennie stood up from his seat, walked to a boy in the back of the bus, pushed the boy with his hands, picked the boy up, shoved him toward the window, spun the boy around and forced him to sit down in his seat.

Rennie reportedly lost his temper with the 9-year-old boy's poor behavior on the bus.

Rennie has been terminated and replaced.
