Chicago Man Arrested in Horrifying Kidnapping in Broad Daylight

A Chicago man has been arrested and charged in a horrific case of kidnapping, armed robbery, and sexual assault.

Justin Dalcollo, 34, appeared in court Monday morning where he was charged with one count of aggravated Kidnapping, one count of armed robbery and one count of aggravated criminal sexual assault.

Last Friday, March 22, a 21-year-old college student was getting into her car in the Bloomingdale Court Mall around 3:30 p.m. when Dalcollo allegedly forced his way into her car at gunpoint. According to the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office, Dalcollo forced the victim to drive to numerous locations around Glendale Heights, Hanover Park, and Bartlett, each time forcing her to withdraw money from her bank account for him.

“The man allegedly ordered the victim to drive to a bank in Glendale Heights, where she was forced to withdraw $300 from her debit card for him,” the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office reported. He then directed her to drive to the parking garage at the Grand Victoria Casino in Elgin, where he sexually assaulted her.

Afterwards Dalcollo forced the victim to drive to a convenience store and to order him a cab. When he left, the victim went to a nearby hospital.

Dalcollo has been denied bail and is due in court April 12.
