How Some Wounded Veterans Use Music to Heal

These wounded warriors are marching to the beat of their own drum. They call themselves "The Resilient," and they're a band of veterans using music to heal.

Nate Kalwicki, on guitar, lost his right leg in Afghanistan while Marcus D'Andrea, on bass, lost both of his legs, and singer Tim Donley did too. But these men aren't letting their injuries stop them, and now they're using music to process and accept their wounds. The band is living up to their name, working hard to release their first album.

Thank you for your service, soldiers. We are forever in your debt, and looking forward to hearing more music from you!
