Some college students at Notre Dame are fighting back against a woman who criticized their clothing choices. Specifically- leggings at church.
Maryann White wrote a letter to the editor of the Notre Dame newspaper, the Observer, saying she was outraged to see leggings worn during Mass inside the Notre Dame church. White, who called herself "a Catholic mother of four sons," said she felt "ashamed" for the young women.
Students turned their anger into “Love Your Leggings Day." They are encouraging men and women to wear leggings on Tuesday.
