Chicago Dad and Son Charged with Selling Diseased Body Parts

A Chicago area father and son are now federally charged for allegedly knowingly selling diseased body parts.

The bizarre story dates back to 2015, when the FBI first began investigating Donald Greene Sr. and Donald Greene Jr. and their now-shuttered business, the Biological Resource Center of Illinois. The Greenes told customers that donated bodies would be used for medical research.

However, the Greenes were selling the bodies, sometimes on the black market to notorious Detroit body broker Arthur Rathburn, who is now in federal prison.

The Greenes sold bodies known to have diseases like HIV, sepsis, and hepatitis for thousands of dollars... From $5,000 all the way up to $100,000.
