Chicago Reporter Working on Overdose Story Finds Man OD'ing in the Street

CBS 2's Dana Kozlov was unexpectedly drawn into her own story about Chicago's drug epidemic when she rushed to help a victim who overdosed right in front of her!

The unbelievable horror was all captured by CBS camera workers and reporters. According to Kozlov, as the man OD'ed in the middle of the street, onlookers watched and even laughed, though no one attempted to help him. Kozlov did her best to keep him awake and breathing until paramedics arrived.

According to the report, that man was the 15th person THAT DAY to overdose in his two-block neighborhood. That's beyond an epidemic.
