Jamill Jones says he was acting in self defense when he knocked out a drunk man at 1 o'clock in the morning in Queens, NY. According to the assistant basketball coach at Wake Forest University, he says the drunk man punched the window of his car, shattering it. He says he punched the man in the head in self defense. However, new video of the assault is calling that into question.
Sandor Szabo, 35, of Boca Raton, Florida, was leaving his stepsister’s wedding reception in the Long Island City neighborhood of Queens, New York, in August. Szabo is visibly intoxicated in the video and seen staggering into the street. According to his family, he was looking for his Uber, knocking on several car windows, including the one driven by the accused assailant.
As the video shows, Szabo was punched by Jones. He fell to the ground, hitting his head on the concrete. He later died from his injuries.
