Gov. J.B. Pritzker is attempting to balance the state budget and part of that means our gas tax is about to double.
From just 19 cents now up to 38 cents per gallon.
This is set to go into effect on July 1st.
Oh, not to mention your vehicle registration fees are about to go up by $50 starting in 2020.
