Three women, three separate attacks, all in the same area around the same time.
The three brazen attacks all took place within 40 minutes of each other on Monday evening, all in the Magnificent Mile area. Women reported being physically assaulted and robbed, all in daylight.
7:38 PM - 1 woman punched and robbed on Oak street and Michigan Avenue
8:13 PM - 2 women robbed on Lake Shore Drive and Chicago Avenue
Another woman was robbed in the same area on Friday, in the early evening as well.
Local Alderman Brian Hopkins says the recent rash of crimes in the area is disturbing, and that the city is working on ways to address the issue.
