3D Crosswalks Could Make Our City a Lot Safer!

We desperately need these all around Chicago! This city is way too dangerous for pedestrians. I see cars flying through crosswalks and red lights every single day. These could really slow people down!

Isa and Eric are two grade schoolers from Medford, Massachusetts, who've already made a big difference in their community. After Eric's brother was involved in a traffic accident, the two were inspired to make the streets safer for pedestrians. The two worked with their school and their town's mayor to implement what may be the nation's first three-dimensional traffic crosswalk. Isa told reporters, "It was a lot of effort, a lot of work put into this project."

I'm going to pass this along to my Alderman, and I hope you do the same!
