A city in Wisconsin just proposed an ordinance to fine parents of bullies!
Wisconsin Rapids Police Chief Ermin Blevins says;
"Preventing bullying needs to be a partnership between the schools and parents and the police department. If we don't work together, we won't be able to solve bullying."
This ordinance involves penalties of $50 after a warning has been received, but with additional fines it would bring each offense total to $313.
What do you think about this?
There was a similar ordinance put in place by the Plover Police Department and they say it's had a positive impact on bullying!!
