10-Year-Old Girl Becomes Youngest Person to Ever Climb El Capitan

This is incredible! Meet rock climber Selah Schneiter. Selah is the 10-year-old girl who just made history, becoming the youngest person ever to climb the El Capitan summit at Yosemite National Park. The Colorado native spent five days scaling the 3,000-foot-high rock wall. Her dad was with her, documenting her journey to the top. Selah said at times she was tired and sore, but nothing was going to stop her from reaching the top. That's some serious dedication for a kid! El Capitan was also at the center of the Oscar-winning documentary “Free Solo," which shows one man ascending without any ropes.
