Rescue Dog Gets Send-Off Fit for a Hero After 10 Years in Navy

It was a going away fit for a hero, and that's exactly what many people consider Frida the rescue dog to be.

Frida served courageously as a member of Mexico's Navy. The yellow Labrador facilitated in the rescue and recovery of people all over the world after natural disasters. Perhaps most famously, she helped in rescue efforts after 2017's devastating earthquake in Mexico. More than 300 people were killed, and over 6,000 injured.

Frida has finally retired from her work after 10 long years of service, and she's ready to enjoy some down time! She's definitely earned it, and I hope she gets treats every day!
