Massive waves, some as high as eight feet, are making dangerous conditions on the lakefront this week.
A large stretch of the bike and pedestrian lakefront paths are currently closed.
So far this year, 20 people have drowned in Lake Michigan. The city is taking precautions by closing sections of the lakefront and beaches when the waves are too high.
