Mom Meets the Baby Who Received Her Late Son's Heart

Her son's tragic death meant this little girl got a second chance at life.

It was an emotional meeting between two families at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital. As Brooke Eaton cradled Lola Bonds in her arms, she pressed a stethoscope to the little girl's chest and heard her late son's heart beating. Eaton's son, Cazmirr "Cash" Landers, died in 2018 after drowning in a pool. But Eaton turned her grief into hope for the Bonds family, who were desperately looking for a heart transplant for Lola. Cash's heart saved Lola's life.
